More than 15 staff members work at the Department of Journalism in the heart of Mainz—both academically and practically. The proximity to editorial offices throughout Germany is ensured not only by the CVs of the employees, but also by the more than ten lecturers from the media practice. The seminar also sees itself as an innovation laboratory for a contemporary journalism with substance.
