Journalism in teaching, research and practice

More than a dozen faculty and staff members work at the School of Journalism in the heart of Mainz—both academically and practically. The proximity to newsrooms throughout Germany is ensured not only by the CVs of our employees, but also by the more than ten lecturers and adjunct professor from various media organizations. We also see our institute as an innovation laboratory for a modern, contemporary journalism with substance.
