Keep up to date with the latest news from both countries and Europe and practise writing journalistic texts in both languages, for example by regularly reading the press in both countries.

Examination

Please note that failure to take one of the examinations will result in exclusion from the selection procedure. What you need to bring with you:

  • Every exam participant must be able to present a valid identity card.
  • All texts must be submitted digitally in PDF format. Please bring a notebook that you can use to save and transfer your documents.
  • You should bring a storage medium (e.g. USB stick) with you to transfer your texts on site.

If you do not have access to your own notebook, we can provide you with a limited number of devices on request. Please contact us in good time before the exam if you would like to make use of this service.

During the exams, please switch off your mobile phone and place it face down on the table. We ask you to work exclusively in the Word programme. You may only leave the room to go to the toilet (leave your mobile phone with the invigilator).

The results of the entire aptitude test will be sent to you by e-mail shortly after completion of the tests, followed by a written confirmation.

We look forward to receiving your application and wish you every success in the aptitude test!
