Christian Simon has been head of the technology office at the Department of Journalism since fall 2014. Here he is responsible for coordinating the technology for teaching and lending as well as its maintenance and support. His focus is on training in editing and post-production. As a freelance editor, Christian Simon works for the ZDF in the area of current affairs. He also volunteers at various public channels and works independently in the field of video production.
